Hiring a gardener should make life easier, not create a second job for you.

If you live in a flat near Paddington Station, keeping plants, balconies, shared courtyards, and roof terraces looking their best can feel oddly complicated. Space is tight. Access can be awkward.

If you live in W2 and your outdoor space is a narrow terrace, you already know the truth: a small garden can be surprisingly demanding.

Transforming your balcony or patio into a secluded paradise is achievable with the right selection of tall-potted plants.
